Sansevieria trifasciata ‘Megan’, also known as Snake Plant ‘Megan’ or Mother-in-Law’s Tongue, is a bold, upright houseplant with sleek, sword-shaped leaves marked in deep green and silvery-green banding. A sculptural beauty that thrives on neglect, it’s one of the easiest indoor plants to grow and makes a striking statement in any modern space. Known for improving air quality and tolerating a wide range of conditions, ‘Megan’ is both stylish and low-maintenance.
Plant Care Light: Super adaptable. Loves bright indirect light but tolerates low light like a champ. A bit of morning or late-day sun is fine, but harsh sun may bleach the edges.
Watering: Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. In winter, water sparingly—this plant stores water in its thick leaves and hates soggy soil.
Temperature: Thrives in 15–28°C. Totally chill with regular indoor temps, but keep it away from cold drafts and frosty windowsills.
Potting: Our Savvy Succa mix is perfect—gritty, fast-draining, and just what this root-bound-loving plant needs. Terracotta pots are a bonus.
