Sempervivum Chick Charms® 'Gold Mine' is a vibrant, easy-care succulent prized for its glowing golden-yellow foliage that develops warm orange and red tones throughout the year. Forming neat rosettes that multiply freely, this hardy alpine succulent creates colourful mats of foliage in pots, rockeries, gravel gardens, and alpine displays. Like all Hens and Chicks, it produces offsets ("chicks") around the main plant, gradually forming an attractive colony over time.
Plant Care Light: Loves full sun to bring out those juicy colours. It’ll tolerate partial shade, but brighter light = better glow-up.
Watering: Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. It’s a drought-tolerant babe, so think less is more. In winter, water sparingly—just enough to keep it from shriveling.
Temperature: Tough as nails. Can handle frost and even snow—just make sure the soil drains well so roots don’t stay soggy.
Potting: Needs super sharp drainage. Our Savvy Succa mix is ideal—it mimics those rocky alpine vibes it naturally loves.
