Tradescantia Rhoeo Spathacea - Moses in the Cradle
The Tradescantia is one of my all-time favourite types of plant! They are easy to care for, add a great pop of colour, and are vigorous growers!
Plant Care
Light: Bright indirect light, can tolerate lower light but won't grow as well or give you as many lovely colours.
Watering: Water when the top inch of the soil is dry. This plant likes to be moist but don't overwater.
Temperature: 18-22°C is ideal but it can tolerate down to 13°C
Potting: A well-draining and moisture-retaining mix is best. The Thirst Trap mix is a good fit.
Hot tips: Tradescantia is an easily propagated plant, which is great as they only have about a year life span, so be sure to take cuttings and your plant will live on forever!
