You will receive a similar plant to the one photographed and not necessarily the same. If you would like a photo of the exact plant we are sending, just drop us a line! Pots and plants are sold separately unless otherwise specified in the listing.
This one's all about the pattern. Aeschynanthus marmoratus, also known as the Zebra Basket Vine, is a trailing beauty with striking marbled foliage—deep green leaves streaked with lime-green veining, like a zebra in jungle camouflage.
Native to the humid forests of Southeast Asia, it thrives in bright, indirect light and brings a subtle tropical touch to shelves or hanging pots. Flowers are rare indoors, but the foliage steals the show.
Plant Care
Light:This plant loves bright indirect light, but direct sun could scorch the leaves. It can tolerate a bit lower light, but you won't get it to flower unless in bright indirect.
Watering:Water when the top inch of soil is dry; this plant is sensitive to overwatering and letting it dry out completely.
Temperature: Ideally, they want 18-24°C, especially if you want them to flower. Don't let it get below 13°C. Otherwise, you will see a leaf drop and have one sad-looking plant.
Potting: This plant is an Epiphyte (grows on other plants/trees/branches)in the wild, so a chunky mix is ideal. Our Airy Aroid mix will do the trick.
Hot tips: This plant loves humidity, so a bright, steamy bathroom is ideal
Pet Friendly: YES
