Plant Care
Light: Loves bright direct light—sun worshipper alert! Pop it in your sunniest window and it’ll thrive.
Watering: Wait until the soil is arid, then give it a deep soak. Think desert drought followed by monsoon. In winter, go light—just enough to keep it from shriveling.
Temperature: Warmth is key. Keep it above 10°C and protect it from drafts or sudden chills. It likes a stable, toasty spot.
Potting: A terracotta pot + gritty cactus or succulent mix is perfect. Our Savvy Succa mix is a dream for this one.
Hot tips: Those spines are no joke! Handle with gloves or give it space—it doesn’t love cuddles. Also goes semi-dormant in winter, so don’t freak if it drops a few leaves.
