Ajuga reptans ‘Burgundy Glow’ – Bugle (Variegated Ground Cover)

A reliable, low-growing evergreen perennial, Ajuga reptans ‘Burgundy Glow’ is valued for its striking variegated foliage in tones of green, cream, and flushed pink. It forms a dense mat over time, making it an excellent choice for ground cover, edging paths, or filling gaps in borders.

In spring, short spikes of blue flowers rise above the foliage, adding extra seasonal interest while attracting pollinators. It’s a strong performer in more difficult spots, including partial shade.

Watering: These plants do not like to sit in dry soil, so make sure your soil is always moist, but avoid letting it sit in water as they are prone to root rot.
