Anemone coronaria ‘Harmony Orchid’ produces striking orchid-purple flowers with a dramatic dark centre, creating a bold splash of colour in spring gardens. The silky petals and delicate fern-like foliage give this plant a light, airy look while still packing plenty of visual impact. Part of the compact Harmony series, it’s perfect for borders, pots, and cut-flower displays.
Plant Care Position: full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil – ideal for borders, containers, and cut-flower gardens
Hardiness: hardy perennial grown from corms in the UK (generally hardy to around -10°C with good drainage)
Hot Tips: soak corms in water for a few hours before planting to wake them up and speed up growth. Plant in autumn or early spring for vibrant spring blooms. Ensure soil drains well, as corms dislike sitting in wet soil. Deadhead spent flowers to extend the display.
