Repotting Aftercare
🌱 Repotting Aftercare
Just had a plant repotted at Plant Studio? Here’s what to expect.
A little droop, a little adjustment, and a whole lot of new growth coming your way.
🪴 What’s Normal After Repotting?
Some leaf drop or droop is totally normal — your plant’s just adjusting.
It may take 1–2 weeks to settle into its new pot and mix.
Don’t panic if it looks a little “meh” for a bit — give it time.
💧 Watering
Now that your plant has more soil around its roots, it will hold moisture longer than before.
That means you’ll likely need to water less often than you were previously.
If we’ve watered it for you, hold off on more water until the soil feels dry again.
Not sure? Stick your finger in — if it’s still damp, wait a bit longer.
🌿 Fertiliser
No need to feed for at least 6 weeks.
Our soil blends contain enough nutrients to carry your plant through this transition.
📍 Keep It in Its Usual Spot
Let your plant recover in a familiar spot with stable light and temperature.
Avoid direct sun or cold drafts right after repotting.
